Strathclyde Windscreens here with our third blog post, so it looks like we’re making a bit of a habit of this blogging malarkey!
We wrote our last blog about some of the additional services we offer as well as windscreen repair and replacement. Honestly, if you can imagine it, we’ve done it. Tinted and privacy glass, sliding windows, rear doors, tailgate glazing, UV and glare reduction, camper vans, tradesman vans, limousines, taxis. And we love a challenge here at Strathclyde Windscreens, so are not even a little bit daunted by a tricky looking project and equally, we relish the small jobs and a bit of instant satisfaction.
Speaking of instant satisfaction, it’s been a very busy week for us doing windscreen repairs from our mobile service. Mainly, these have been over and done with very quickly and with minimal disruption or inconvenience to our customers. You know how it goes, driving round a bendy B road and bang! a stone flicks up off the road onto one of your windscreens? Well, coincidentally we had a few jobs like that this week. All regular customers who knew to expect a very quick response. So to avoid the potential dangers of continuing to drive with a chip and risking further damage, or even worse, a crash resulting from a complete windscreen fail, we offered out mobile team.
So what did our mobile service do, in this instance? We nipped out to where our customers were and made a professional repair on the spot, instantly reducing danger and securing their screen. It’s not every job that requires our mobile service, and often, it is safe just to nip in to us as soon as you can after the incident occurs. But if it’s a big chip, a mobile visit might be the best option and we are always happy to help you stay safe!
