This is our first ever blog post here at Strathclyde Windscreens and we’re pretty excited about it!

Our plan is to post weekly blog posts, keeping you all up-to-date with what we are up to, and of course, why we are the best at what we do.

But whilst we are new to this blogging malarky, we are certainly not new to offering quality windscreen repair and replacement. In fact, we’ve been fixing up windscreens for over 30 years and have built up quite a reputation for quality work. We think that entitles us to a little boasting, wouldn’t you agree?

Windscreen chips are a fact of life and they usually start off as something pretty minor, after a stone flicks up onto one of your windows, for instance (it’s usually the front, but sometimes your rear or side windows). Drivers are often tempted to ignore these little chips but here at Strathclyde Windscreens, our top tip is to avoid delay repairing that windscreen. Let us help repair the chip before it deteriorates causing a bigger job, or worse still, putting you in danger. We can often fix you up in under 60 minutes and, because we are approved by most major insurance companies, we can usually deal with all the paperwork and stress for you too.

Don’t worry if your insurance company doesn’t cover for windscreens though, we will still be able to offer you an extremely competitive quote and give you the same excellent workmanship and quality service.

At Strathclyde Windscreens we pride ourselves on our top-class customer service and we are extremely accessible. In addition to being open 7 days a week, having a 24 hour helpline and offices across Scotland, we also offer a mobile windscreen repair and replacement service, so we can cover multiple locations across Scotland, including Bathgate, Cumbernauld, Falkirk, Glasgow, Hamilton, Irvine, Edinburgh, Lothian, Stirling, Ayrshire, Greenock and more besides.
